This is a new buzz created by media. It is recommended to you getting the sun in a pill, which is not anything else as vitamin D. Today an interesting article came out from the editors  at Netscape called “One Vitamin Helps You Loose Weight.” Is that so?

Maybe you already set up your new diet plan, starting with a newest diet book on the market, working on your treadmill, cutting calories by juicing with vegetables and eating healthy foods. But only time will show how successful your are in losing weight and acquiring a great shape. It will not happen, as editors at Nescape said, ”until you go to your doctor and get your vitamin D levels checked.”

According to a study from the University of Minnesota, the level of vitamin D in your body at the start of a low-calorie diet can predict your weight loss success or failure. The study’s lead author, Dr. Shalamar Sibley said, “Vitamin deficiency is associated with obesity, but is is not clear if inabequate vitamin D causes obesity or other way around.” The of the study were presented at the Endocrine Society’a 91st meeting in Washington, D.C. with results suggesting the possibility that the addition of vitamin D to a reduced-calorie diet will lead to better weight loss.

The study was not conducted with the vitamin defifient people who get outside and walk every day. It doesn’t mention that if you spend from 30 minutes to one hour at the beach between 7:00 A.M and 10:00 A.M. without using sunblock creme,  you’ll get natural vitamin D from the sun exposure.

So, why do you need to buy the sun in a bottle, a heavily advertised vitamin D in a pill, if our bodies are designed to maintain the best in us? We are built to be solid, strong and energetic. Our natural resources, such as the sun, earth,  and Nature, provide us with optimal energy and natural vitamin D. Thus we are perfectly capable to self-heal when we are sick or injured, or loose weight when we need it.

Wake up early and go to meet sunrise. It is romantic, healthy and inspiring.

Admire the sunflowers nurtured by the morning sun.  Walk every morning, manage to eat healthy foods, and you’ll loose weight naturally. If you live in the South, go to the beach or park, swim in your pool. All you need is to expose your body for 15-30 minutes to the sun. If you live somewhere else, you get these ultra-violet rays in summer time through your house glass or car windows while you are driving, or just by gardening in your backyard. Are you still thinking that vitamin D in a pill is better solution?
