Some people I know, don’t want to be parents. It always amazed me why they don’t want to have babies, the most amazing miracles given to us.  Probably they have their reasons and want to “live for themselves,” as one of my friends said once. Is it a good, fulfilled life? I am not sure about it.

If you are a parent, you have difficult, but much more fascinating life…  You don’t have time for boredom. You have a full time job with all responsibilities, dissapointments and great joys attached, and no one will fire you. Now about a parent’s job description. This is really funny. If it had been presented this way, do you believe any of us would have done it?!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Long term, team players needed, for challenging, permanent work in an often chaotic environment.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call.
  • Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities!
  • Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.
